Viviscal Extra Strength Hair Growth Supplements

Today I’m going to review one of the well know hair growth supplements in  the markets, nowadays. Viviscal Extra Strength Hair Nutrient. Many people have been chasing this product online, so I thought why not do a review according to what reviewers think about this supplement.

Before I review Viviscal Extra Strength Hair Nutrient, lets talk a bit about what makes people purchase supplements like this. It’s not a secret that people recently – including myself- have been suffering from extreme hair shedding. It’s a devastating issue that is really more than just a hair falling out. Myself confidence took a big hit and I had nothing else to do to regain it back except looking for an effective solution for my hair loss issues.

I heard a lot from my friends and other people about hair loss shampoos and supplements. I tried a lot of homemade recipes, some of these stopped shedding temporary, but the good results didn’t last for long. An online friend recommended Viviscal, as she got satisfying results after 3 months of use. So i thought to give it a try but after i do some research and reviewing to get to know the product I’m about to take.

A small advise for all of you, my hair loss colleagues. Before pursuing hair loss treatment, talk with your doctor about the cause of the hair loss and the best treatment options.

Hair Loss Symptoms And Causes

Viviscal Extra StrengthHair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what’s causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body. Some types of hair loss are temporary, and others are permanent.

  • Gradual thinning on top of head.
  • Circular or patchy bald spots
  • Sudden loosening of hair.
  • Full-body hair loss.
  • Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp.

See your doctor if your child or you are distressed by hair loss and want to pursue treatment. Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child’s hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.

Most people normally shed 100 to 150 hairs per day. This usually doesn’t cause noticeable thinning of scalp hair. The exact cause of hair loss may not be fully understood, but it’s usually related to one or more of the following factors:

  • Family history (heredity).
  • Hormonal changes.
  • Medical conditions.
  • Medications.

I’m going to say it again. Before pursuing hair loss treatment, talk with your doctor about the cause of the hair loss and the best treatment options available for your condition.

viviscal-extra-strength-hair-nutrient-reviewThe Viviscal Extra Strength Hair Nutrient tablets are supposed to nourish thinning hair, while promoting existing hair growth from within. Viviscal Extra Strength Hair Nutrient makers claim that this supplement is made of an exclusive group of natural ingredients, such as:

  • Amino Mar Marine Complex

It’s Fish Ingredients; A blend of both sustainably sourced shark powder and mollusk powder, these seem to be exclusive to Viviscal

  • Zinc

This vitamin is found in cells throughout the body. It is needed for the immune system to properly work. zinc plays a role in cell division, cell growth, wound healing, and the breakdown of carbohydrates. It is also needed for the senses of smell and taste. During pregnancy, infancy, and childhood the body needs zinc to grow and develop properly. Zinc also enhances the action of insulin. This chemical element is a vital mineral for healthy hair, skin and nails. Learn why dermatologists recommend zinc for hair growth and how zinc consumption can prevent hair loss.

  • Vitamin C:

Also known as L-ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin that is naturally present in some foods, added to others, and available as a dietary supplement. Humans, unlike most animals, are unable to synthesize vitamin Cendogenously, so it is an essential dietary component. This vitamin helps build collagen, which is highly important for hair growth. It also plays a necessary role in absorbing iron, which keeps our locks strong and healthy.

  • Niacin (B3):

Having enough niacin, or vitamin B3, in the body is important for general good health. As a treatment, higher amounts of niacin can improve cholesterol levels and lower cardiovascular risks. It’s the vitamin that plays a big role in healthy hair growth. It is a water-soluble vitamin that helps the body convert food into energy. That’s why one symptom of Niacin deficiency is fatigue.

  • Biotin

is a coenzyme and a B vitamin. It is also known as vitamin H. As a supplement, biotin is sometimes used for diabetes, brittle nails, thin hair and other conditions. Symptoms of biotin deficiency include hair loss, dry skin, a scaly rash around the eyes or mouth, dry eyes, fatigue, and depression.

  • Iron:

Almost one in 10 women aged 20 through 49 suffers from anemia due to an iron deficiency. which is an easily fixable cause of hair loss. Iron is a key nutrient missing from many
diets. Taking iron supplements helps
prevent and treat low levels of iron in the blood.

  • Horsetail extract:

The scientific name for this is Equisetum arvense. Extracts of horsetail are used extensively in alternative medicine. Horse tail does appear to have some anti-inflammatory properties that might support hair growth.

  • Millet Seed Extract:

These seeds originally grew in eastern India and was cultivated in China as early as 2500 B.C. Millet has since been used in skin and hair care to fortify and enliven. The seed extract contains mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E that contribute regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties. The extract also contains silicic acid that promotes the formation of collagen and elastin while helping to retain moisture.

Viviscal claims that it provides a good amount of all these minerals and all of these minerals have been linked to hair loss.

Other Ingredients:

Microcrystalline Cellulose, Maltodextrin, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Magnesium Stearate, Natural Orange Flavor, Methyl Cellulose, Silicon Dioxide, Glycerin.

The makers of this supplement claim that Viviscal is the world leader in hair growth supplements. The product is 100% drug free with seven clinical trials proving it’s efficacy. How does Viviscal work?

Viviscal normally works in four stages over a 6-month period, but most users can start to see improvement after only 3-4 months.

• Stage 1 (up to month 2): Viviscal works to nourish the hair follicles from within
• Stage 2 (months 2 & 3): Viviscal strengthens and promotes the growth of existing hair
• 3rd Stage (months 4 & 5): Promotes growth of hair where it has temporarily slowed down or stopped. These hairs may be thin or wispy at first, like baby hair.
• In the 6th month the hair becomes stronger, thicker, healthier and more vibrant.

What Is It Good For?

  • In a recent trial on Viviscal Extra Strength, participants reported a self-perceived improvement in nail strength and nail growth rate.
  • There is no statistically significant evidence in a clinical setting to confirm that Viviscal supplements promote eyebrow growth or eyelash growth.
  • There have been some anecdotal reports regarding an increase in hair shedding in the initial stages of taking Viviscal supplements. Viviscal supplements work by providing key nutrients for healthy hair growth during the growing (Anagen) phase of the hair growth cycle. The Viviscal expert panel believes this may cause resting hairs (hairs in the Telogen phase) to move into the growing phase faster, and this may result in an initial increase of shedding. However, the majority of clients who remain on the Viviscal Hair Growth Program for 6 months reported that their hair became thicker. Furthermore, in a recent clinical trial, Viviscal Extra Strength users had a 32% increase in terminal hairs and a 39% decrease in hair shedding after 3 months.

Directions Of Use
